Terms and conditions of the “Film a video and get a year’s subscription to Fakturuj.si for free!” promotion
These rules set out the terms and conditions for taking part in the promotional campaign at Fakturuj.si. By taking part in the campaign, you agree to these rules.
1. Who is organising the event?
This promotion is organised by the operator of the Fakturuj.si service (hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser”). We are running this promotion on a voluntary basis as a token of our appreciation to our users — it is not a competition with a prize to which a claim can be made within the meaning of specific regulations.
2. When is the event taking place?
The promotion runs from 1 May 2026 until further notice or until the Organiser terminates the promotion.
Should we need to end the promotion early, extend it or amend the rules, we will announce this in advance on this page. Entries submitted before any change to the rules are judged according to the rules in force at the time of submission.
3. Who can take part
The following are eligible to take part:
- a natural person aged over 18, or
- a business operator (a sole trader or a legal entity) authorised to carry on business.
Participants must have a valid email address. They do not need to be registered users of Fakturuj.si.
Employees and associates of the Organiser, as well as their close relatives, are not eligible to take part in the promotion.
4. How to get involved
Taking part in the campaign involves the following steps:
- Record a short video (recommended length 5–60 seconds) about how Fakturuj.si helps you or why you like it.
- Post it on your public profile on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.
- Please tag us or mention us in the video description as Fakturuj.si (on Facebook/Instagram, use @fakturuj.si; on LinkedIn, tag the page or include a link to www.fakturuj.si) so that we can find the video.
- Please email us a link to the video at [email protected] with the subject line ‘Video competition’.
5. What is the prize and how do we award it?
The prize is a free 12-month subscription to Fakturuj.si, with full access to all features. The prize cannot be transferred to another person or exchanged for cash.
The Organiser decides on the awarding of prizes. To ensure a fair decision, we only take the following criteria into account:
- The video does indeed relate to the Fakturuj.si service,
- does not contain offensive, misleading or otherwise unlawful content,
- This is not spam, automatically generated content or a copy of someone else’s video,
- The participant has completed all the steps set out in point 4.
There is no legal entitlement to the prize, and it cannot be enforced through the courts. However, if your video meets the criteria set out above, we will normally award the prize.
6. How we will deliver the prize
We will activate the subscription on your account in the Fakturuj.si app within 14 working days of verification at the latest. If you do not yet have an account, we will invite you to register for free — we will activate your prize as soon as you have completed the registration.
If you do not claim your prize (by registering an account) within 60 days of being notified that you have won, the prize will lapse without any entitlement to compensation.
7. Your video and copyright
You remain the author of the video. By submitting the video, you confirm that:
- you are the actual author of the video (or you have the consent of the co-authors),
- you have the consent of all persons who are recognisable in the video,
- The video does not infringe the rights of third parties (copyright, moral rights, data protection).
At the same time, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use the video for marketing purposes at Fakturuj.si — we may share it on our social media profiles, use it in advertising and on our website. The licence is unlimited in terms of time and territory and covers all known forms of use. Your own copyright remains unaffected.
If you later ask us to remove a video from our channels, we will do so without undue delay (typically within 30 days). Any subscriptions you have already received will remain valid.
8. Data Protection
We only process the personal data necessary for the event:
- your name and email address (for communication regarding your prize),
- a link to your social media profile (to verify that the video has been posted),
- the video itself (as part of the licence under clause 7).
The legal basis for the processing is your consent, which you give by submitting your application. You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing [email protected] — however, such withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to the withdrawal.
We retain the data for a maximum of 24 months from the end of the event (for the purposes of providing evidence of the event’s proceedings and for tax compliance). We may retain videos for which we hold a licence for a longer period, in accordance with point 7.
You have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict its processing, to data portability, and to lodge a complaint with the Slovak Data Protection Authority.
We only send you marketing emails (newsletters) if you have specifically signed up for them — taking part in a promotion does not mean you are subscribing to the newsletter.

9. Tax implications of a win
The value of the prize is low and typically falls under the tax exemption for promotional campaigns. If you are unsure about your tax status, please consult your tax adviser.
10. Final provisions
By taking part in this event, you confirm that you have read and understood these rules.
These rules are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic.
