How to issue a quotation

Send the client a quotation before the work is done. Once the client agrees to it, convert it to an invoice with one click.

The screenshots in this guide show the app interface in Slovak. The app is available in your language with the same layout.

A quotation is a document in which you inform the client in advance of the price for the work or goods. If the client accepts the quotation, you can convert it into a proper invoice in Fakturuj.si with a single click — without having to retype the items.

Procedure

  1. In the left-hand menu, open Documents → Quotations.
  2. In the top right-hand corner, click on “+ Create new quote”.
  3. Fill in the same fields as for an invoice — client, items, prices — and save.

Tip: quotes have their own numbering sequence (e.g. CP20260002). Once the client has approved the quote, open it and select “Convert to invoice” from the ⋮ menu — all items will be copied to a new invoice and you just need to fill in the dates.
